“Strangest Thing I’ve Ever Seen”: Military Witness Reports Hudson Falls UFO
Strangest Thing In My Life
Just weeks after a remarkable UFO report involving multiple National Guard observers near Troy, another military witness from Upstate New York has come forward with a story he says is the "strangest thing I've ever seen in my life."
According to a report submitted to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), the witness observed a large black cube-shaped object over Hudson Falls on May 3, 2026.
Thought It Was a Ballon
The observer, who identified himself as a member of the military, said he first noticed what appeared to be a black object emerging from the clouds while walking near a small airport. Curious, he stopped to watch what he initially assumed might be a balloon, according to the report.
Instead, he says the object remained completely stationary despite windy conditions.
The witness described the object as jet black, roughly cube-shaped, and possibly 20 feet across. He also reported seeing metallic features on top of the object and strange green flashes of light emanating from beneath it as it slowly rotated.
What Was It?
As the object drifted west toward the Hudson River, the witness reported to NUFORC that it stopped rotating, flashed green one final time, and then suddenly shot straight upward into the clouds. He further claimed the object left behind a small, square-shaped puff of dark smoke that quickly disappeared.

Could there be a conventional explanation? Absolutely. Drones, balloons, atmospheric conditions, and perspective can often make ordinary objects appear extraordinary.
Still, much like the recent Troy report involving military personnel, it's the witness's detailed description—and military background—that makes this latest Hudson Falls sighting particularly intriguing.
