
U.S. Marshals Seek Albany Murder Suspect, Offer Up to $5,000 Reward
US Marshals: 5K Reward For Man Last Seen in Albany
The U.S. Marshals Service is asking for the public's help in locating a 19-year-old man wanted on multiple felony charges, including second-degree murder, and is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.
According to the U.S. Marshals, Jacqua Cowan, also known as "Quaski," is wanted in connection with the March 22nd, 2025, shooting death of Jamier Allen near 61 Boenau Street in Albany.

An Albany County Court warrant was issued on June 11th, charging Cowan with 10 counts, including second-degree murder, first-degree conspiracy, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Allen was reported missing by his family after being last seen on March 22, 2025. On March 26, 2025, police found his body in a wooded area off Boenau Street in Albany's South End with a gunshot wound.
Armed and Dangerous
Investigators say Cowan has been at large since June and was last seen on Liebel Street in Albany, but authorities also say he has ties to Jersey City, New Jersey.
The U.S. Marshals Service describes Cowan as a Black male, 5-foot-7, approximately 115 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

5K Reward
Anyone with information about Cowan's whereabouts is urged not to approach him. Instead, contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-WANTED-2 or email usmstips@usdoj.gov. Information leading to his arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.

The charges against Cowan are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
