When most people think of heroes, their minds run to Superman, Spiderman, Batman, and other caped crusaders carrying the fight for good.
At the end of the day, though, these are just characters created to sell comic books, but that doesn't mean we don't have our own heroes...
Local Heroes
We might never meet a man who can leap tall buildings in a single bound, but we pass by heroes who have done more every single day. From firefighters and EMTs to police officers and those serving in the military, we owe our freedom and safety to these brave men and women.
Unfortunately, they aren't always shown that they're appreciated. They put in hours of hard work and risk their lives for us, so why don't we show them our gratitude more often? Well, GNA wants to make sure that our local heroes know they're appreciated...
Heroes Night Out
In order to show appreciation to our local heroes, 107.7 GNA and Empire State Plumbing are thrilled to announce "Heroes Night Out", a way for you to show how important a local hero is to you.
All you have to do is nominate a local hero, whether they be a nurse, firefighter, police officer, EMT, or military, and enter their information in the form below. One lucky winner will be featured on 107.7 GNA, and receive a $100 gift card to a local
restaurant.
Together, we can celebrate and uplift the incredible work being done in our community to honor our Heroes. Your support makes a difference—let's shine a light on those who serve!
