
LongHorn Brawl Suspect Previously Tied to Crossgates Mall Shooting
Update on Fight at LongHorn Steakhouse
What started as a viral, chaotic fight inside a Colonie steakhouse earlier this month has now taken a surprising turn after authorities traced back one of the assailants to a shooting incident at Crossgates Mall 10 years ago.
According to CBS 6 Albany, four people are facing charges following two separate incidents at the LongHorn Steakhouse earlier this month.

Police say Tasheem Maeweather (30) and Willis Maeweather (32), both of Albany, along with Albert Fields (40) of Schenectady, are charged with reckless endangerment, reckless endangerment to property, and disorderly conduct.
Willis Maeweather also faces a felony criminal mischief charge from the incident that happened back on March 4th.
The Man Arrested Fired a Gun at Crossgates Mall
In a separate incident days later, 29-year-old Anita Henry was accused of throwing glasses and bottles inside the restaurant, injuring another person. She faces assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges, accordng to the report.
CBS 6 is also reporting that Tasheem Maeweather was also involved in the 2016 incident at Crossgates Mall, where authorities say he fired a gun outside the Apple Store. He was later found guilty of reckless endangerment in that case.
Viral Video Shows Part of the Altercation
The viral video, which circulated on social media a few weeks ago, appears to show part of the chaotic scene inside the restaurant. One post jokingly suggested the fight may have been over LongHorn’s popular lamb chops, though there’s no indication that’s actually what sparked the altercation.
