Big Plans in the Future For West Mountain

"The Woods at West Mountain" is in the works and would consist of many details and changes according to the Daily Gazette. First, the owners want to build a small village at the Northwest Base. This is on the north end of the ski area. At the base of the mountain, there is a more extensive plan for a conference center, spa, a 60 to 80-room hotel, an athletic club, 60 townhouses, 72 condos, an amphitheater, shops, a lodge, restaurants, and 180 apartments! This phase could take up to five years.
