Local spots like the Rusty Nail and Powers Pub are known for great wings, and if chain eateries are your thing, it's even home to a Buffalo Wild Wings. In the coming months, another popular chain will start serving up wings in Clifton Park.
Wing Stop To Open New Capital Region Restaurant In Clifton Park
If you do any shopping in the Shoppers World/Market 32 Plaza off of Route 146 in Clifton Park, you may have noticed a new Wing Stop location going in next door to Sports Clips. I certainly caught my eye the last time I popped in for an MVP haircut!
According to Alex Gioeni, Chief Administrator of our locally owned Wing Stop franchises, the new Clifton Park location will open sometime this fall and will be holding hiring events soon. She says another new location is also in the works in Queensbury, and it is expected to open sometime in August. These will become the 4th and 5th Wing stops in the area, joining existing eateries in Schenectady, Troy, and Albany.
Wing Stop is known for a menu full of great chicken wings, tenders, chicken sandwiches, fries, and more. It will be a new fan favorite to add to the wing rotation in Clifton Park and Queensbury this football season and beyond!
