"A League of Their Own" is one of my favorite movies of all time. In fact, when it came out in 1992, I saw it thirteen times in the theaters. I'm excited because it's coming back to theaters this spring. I think the draw of the movie, for me, was that I was in college at the time and played college sports. This movie gave me an insight into the female athletes that came before me and what they had to endure. It was also written well and was a great movie.

According to Simplemost.com, TCM Big Screen Classics and Fathom Events will host a special event and bring "A League of Their Own" back to the theaters for a very short run. It will be showing at the Regal Cinemas in Colonie Center and in Crossgates Mall on April 26, April 27, and April 29.

This special event will include some insights from Turner Classic Movies and special appearances from members of the All-American League. You can purchase your tickets now by clicking HERE.
