Free Classic Film Screenings Coming To Capitol Park

Film is one of our newer art forms, relatively speaking. While painting, sculpting, and music have been being produced for centuries, film only started getting its footing a little over a century ago.

The great thing about that is that we can see the earliest days of the medium very easily, and Albany is bringing some of those classics to a free event...

Capitol Park After Dark

The City of Albany will be hosting a late summer film series at West Capitol Park, just off to the side of the state capitol building. The showings will take place on Wednesdays, August 19th, August 26th, and September 2nd at 8 p.m.

Moviegoers are asked to bring their own chairs and blankets. Free popcorn will be available courtesy of L.A. Dawgz.
