It's hard to tell by their mugshots what eggs-actly these two were thinking.  They appear to be a bit smug which leaves me to wonder if their arrest felt like some kind of a yoke to them, or were they just too shell-shocked to know how to react.

Either way, you must hand it to the Ravena police for cracking the case of the couple left scrambling after they were arrested for yoking each other up with eggs.

Below are the mugshots of Shanna Salvino and Christopher Hecker of Ravena who police say cracked one another with eggs on Monday.

According to a report from News 10 ABC, the Albany County Sheriff's Office say that the incident took place on Monday afternoon at the Oakbook Manor Apartments in Ravena.  When deputies arrived to the scene, it was impossible to egg-nore the cut of Shanna Salvino's of Ravena's face which they say was caused by a food fight between her and Christopher Hecker, also of Ravena.

After police spoke with the shell-shocked duo, it was determined that an arguement ensued and eggs-calated to the point where the two hatched a plan that involved pegging each other with eggs.   While it's unclear what led to the incredible, indelible egg toss, both Hecker and Salvino were charged with misdemeanors the story states.

According to News 10 ABC, Salvino was in contempt of an order of protection that Hecker.
