If you've been wanting or needing a new vehicle but are fearful of taking on an added payment, the Ford Motor Company wants to help you buy without fear.  On Monday it was announced that they're launching a new program called the "Ford Promise" designed for anyone afraid that their job status down the road could be up in the air.

Ford Motor Company is allowing consumers some peace of mind and a little reassurance during these uncertain economic times by unveiling a new program called the "Ford Promise." According to WKBW Buffalo the new program states  that "customers who lease or purchase a vehicle with Ford Credit financing and then lose their job within a year can return the vehicle."

Customers are able to take advantage of the program until September 30th and according to the report are for vehicles 2019, 2020, 2021 purchased or leased, new or used.

According to the Ford website, the offer excludes dealers in New York and Oregon, but that does include dealers in the surrounding states of  Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine or New Jersey.

Johnson Ford in Pittsfield, MA is one of the closest Ford dealerships not in the state of New York.  It's approximately 40 miles outside of Albany while Bennington Ford in Bennington, VT is also approximately 40 miles away.
