Altamont Orchards, located on Dunnsville Road in Altamont, has been owned and operated by the Abbruzzese family since 1969. Brothers Joe, John, Dan, and Jim Abbruzzese helped grow the property into one of the Capital Region’s most beloved destinations.

Their sprawling 162-acre property is now listed for $5.9 million and includes far more than just orchards. The listing features the working orchard itself, the popular farm market and bakery, greenhouse, gift shop, brewery tenant space, and a private residence.

Sale Includes Spectacular Golf Course

The sale also includes Orchard Creek Golf Course, the acclaimed 18-hole public course that was once named New York State Course of the Year. The property’s Cider House Restaurant, banquet space, and clubhouse are also part of the offering.

According to the listing, the land traces back to 1792 and represents a rare opportunity to continue a generations-long Upstate New York farming legacy.

While the owners and staff at Altamont Orchards have not publicly announced the sale on social media, the property recently appeared on Zillow.com, complete with dozens of stunning photos highlighting the rare opportunity.
