A woman from Bolton is in a little trouble with the law after she allegedly used her car as a weapon against her husband.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Department received a call from someone that the a man had intentionally been hit by a vehicle. When authorities got to the scene and investigated, they determined that 49-year-old Ellen Brandow allegedly drove her vehicle into the garage and then struck her husband. Her husband was knocked down and ended up with some injuries to his arm and ribs, nothing life threatening. Bolton EMS were called to the scene, and then brought Brandow’s husband to Glens Falls Hospital.

According to the story from News 10 ABC, Brandow was then arrested and is facing some serious charges, including Assault in the Second degree, which is a class D felony, and also Driving While Intoxicated.

In the article in The Post Star, Brandow has had some legal issues in the past. Last year, she was accused of neglecting a horse and ended up with a charge of animal cruelty.
