On Monday morning, Baxter State Park Rangers led the search for two missing hikers last seen on the Katahdin Tablelands in Maine this past Sunday at around 10:15 a.m. heading towards the summit. Rangers say the Keiderlings' vehicle was still in the day-use parking on Monday morning when they started the search.
The Body of Father Found, Daughter Still Missing
The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife reported on Tuesday that the 58-year-old’s body was discovered by the K-9 unit on the Katahdin Tablelands, near the summit, around 2:45 p.m.
