Two Popular Albany Restaurants Are On The Market-Looking for Buyers
The owners of two popular Albany restaurants have decided to sell after ten years in business. They won't close the businesses, but they hope to sell them off soon.
After nearly ten years of running the Savoy Taproom and The Copper Crow in Albany, the owners have decided it’s time to move on and sell both businesses, according to News Channel 13.
They started their journey back in 2015 when they took over a well-known but aging bar on Lark Street. Justin's needed a lot of work, but they gave it new life by fixing it up from top to bottom with new floors, furniture, and a modern touch, all while keeping some of its old charm. That bar became the Savoy Taproom, which has since become a go-to spot for great drinks, food, and local events.
A few years later, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, they bought another space. This time in Albany’s warehouse district. They had a big vision for it, hoping to bring a trendy, city-style atmosphere to the area. That dream turned into The Copper Crow, a stylish and creative restaurant that quickly made a name for itself in the community.
