Yesterday there was news of a bear roaming around in the Guilderland area and local police warned it's residents.  This morning, another bear was spotted in the Rotterdam area and residents were put on alert.  As a precaution, the Schalmont Central School District issued a message on their Facebook page informing those in their district that they are keeping all students inside for the time being.

There have been a few very rare lobsters found in the Capital Region in the past year. In each case a different color has been discovered. This time is no different. A rare colored lobster has been found in a local Price Chopper.

My friend and I love escape rooms. It's a live-action puzzle you need to solve in order to get out. If you haven't tried one, here's a few in the area to take a look at.

The man was a frequent customer at a local jewelry store, but now he is a suspect in stealing several rings. Police and the owners need your help to find him.

Albany Medical Center already operates eight EmUrgentCare facilities in the Capital Region. Looks like number nine will open in Rotterdam.

I grew up watching wrestling in the 80's and 90's and remember watching the likes of Hall of Fame wrestler Jake "The Snake" Roberts.  "The Snake" will be making a 2 hour appearance at the Via|Port Rotterdam tomorrow.

The Capital Region is a great place to live but sometimes we get stuck in our routines. We see the same places, eat the same food, and you may have missed some of the hidden things the area has to offer.

I'd like to think if I were in this situation that I'd be brave enough to defend myself but I don't know if I could. I give all of the credit in the world to these two for not only supporting and looking out for each other but for the business they've built.

I love food, which is good I need it to survive, but my problem is that I love all of the food that's not good for me. Luckily today is "National Eat What You Want" Day and I may partake and worry about it tomorrow, it doesn't happen to be "Magically Lose 10 Lbs Day" tomorrow, does it?
