Albany Medical Center already operates eight EmUrgentCare facilities in the Capital Region. Looks like number nine will open in Rotterdam. Albany Medical Center is aiming for an April opening of the EmUrgentCare facility at 1400 Altamont Ave in the Hannaford Plaza. The clinic will occupy more than five thousand square feet where the Hallmark store once was.

It has already been approved by the Town of Rotterdam and construction is underway. Albany Med says that the clinic will be staffed by twelve full-time and six part time employees.

EmUrgentCare facilities treats everything from sprains and fractures to cold and flu, asthma, ear and throat infections and more. X-rays are available on site too. The clinics are open 9am to 9pm every day of the year.

There are already two clinics in Schenectady County and there are eight all together in the Capital Region. Other EmUrgentCare facilities are in Colonie, Mechanicville, Glenmont, Brunswick, Coxsackie and Saugerties.
