At least two people were inside the truck at the time of the incident. Images of both the suspect vehicle and the stolen trailer have been released in the hope that someone will recognize them.
State Police are urging anyone with information or who recognizes either the truck or the trailer to come forward.
If you have any details that could help identify those responsible or locate the stolen trailer, you are asked to contact New York State Police Troop G at 518-457-6811 or email crimetip@troopers.ny.gov to provide tips confidentially.
Anyone with surveillance video or dashcam footage, or who may have seen the trailer or truck in the area around Crescent Road during December, is especially encouraged to reach out.
