Here we are once again winding down another week, so that means it's time for another edition of Flashback Friday and remember a great country song from the past. Since we've had this heat wave coming through the area I wanted to pick a song that would go along perfectly with the weather. Listening to the lyrics of this one I think I picked a winner. This week we go back to 1990 for Mark Chesnutt's debut single "Too Cold At Home"

This was Mark's debut single from the album of the same name which reached #3 on the Billboard Country Charts in the summer of 1990. It kicked off a string of successful tunes for Mark, including eight number one singles!

These days Mark is still recording music and touring. He released an album of covers last year called "Outlaw" which contained songs originally done by "Outlaw Country" legends like Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Just recently he released a live album called "Live From The Big D".

I hope you enjoyed this blast from the past and be sure to check back here next week for another great country memory!
