Love Cowboy Breaks Down "Relationship Breaks"

My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost 6 years and in that time we've built a life together. We have a dog, rent an apartment together, have many of the same friends - all the things that couples do. Recently, she's been off. I'd say for the past 5 months or so. She just chalked it up to the stress of the pandemic but now I know that not to be true because she mentioned something the other day about "taking a break for a few months."

She may go back to living w her mom and dad for a while. I can't make her stay- does taking a break ever work?
