Sneak Peak of the New Ride at the Great Escape

Back in August, the Great Escape in Lake George announced that at the end of the summer, they'd be retiring the Alpine Bobsled Ride to make way for their newest thrill-coaster called "The Bobcat".

On Tuesday, the Great Escape gave theme park enthusiasts a sneak peek at the cool new design of the ride, set to growl this spring.

Check out the design of the new coaster at the Great Escape, it's pretty cool looking if you ask us.

Saying Goodbye to the Alpine Bobsled

The Alpine Bobsled coaster, inspired by the Lake Placid Olympics, was a trackless coaster that thrills riders who speed down the track in a themed toboggan, gliding around every turn like a champion bobsledder.

The ride was originally constructed in 1984 at Six Flags Great Adventure and opened at Six Flags Great Escape in 1998 the area once home to the Alpine Bobsled will feature the all-new Bobcat ride in the soring,
