It looks like Hollywood is noticing that there are a lot of things here to talk about. First, Meryl Streep, now Charlize Theron, looks like the 518 and its residents are slowly becoming famous.

Charlize Theron will be starring as Megyn Kelly in the upcoming movie "Bombshell" out in December, with Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie. According to Variety via the Times Union, Theron was scared to play the part of the newscaster known for most of her time spent on Fox News and then later fired from NBC.

The movie is about the post-Harvey Weinstein world of #MeToo, where Fox employees started speaking up against founder Roger Ailes and accusing him of sexual harassment. Kidman stars as Gretchen Carlson and Robbie as Kayla Pospisil who is a composite of multiple women who accused Ailes.

Kelly, you may remember is a native of the Capital Region. Though born in Illinois, her father soon started a teaching job at the State University at Albany when Kelly was 9 and they moved to Delmar. Kelly ended up going to Bethlehem Central High School and earned a J.D. from Albany Law School in 1995.
