This storm delivered a big punch in some areas as promised in the Capital Region, but was underwhelming in others.

For those who love big snow, this storm's big winners were in the northern Saratoga County area, where many received up to a foot of snow, as predicted!

While initial snowfall predictions called for 8 to 12 inches of accumulation for most of the Capital Region, the Albany area received less than expected. However, compared to the rest of the season, it was still a decent-sized snowfall for many, as the local totals listed below show.

Another Winter Storm Heading Toward Albany This Week

While the Capital Region still has not experienced one huge storm, it has seen an active stretch of snowfall with many smaller storms. The National Weather Service says this active stretch of winter weather will continue later this week, with another winter storm heading our way on Wednesday and Thursday.
