
More Snow To Blanket The Capital Region Tonight (Feb. 26)
A minor clipper disturbance will move across the Capital Region being a few inches of wet snow overnight.
Just as we got to experience temperatures in the 40s for the first time in a long time the last few days, Old Man Winter is trying to still make his presence known!
News Channel 13 First Warning Forecast
News Channel 13 is reporting temperatures will drop to freezing overnight and disturbance will bring rain and snow to the Capital Region with a couple of inches of slushy snow expected by sunrise.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region saying "A clipper disturbance tonight into Thursday morning will result in 1 to 3 inches of wet snow with a possible glaze of ice from freezing rain." News Channel 13 says after some scattered rain showers Thursday temperatures will once again reach the 40s.

The NWS is also watching another potential clipper/light snow event Friday into Saturday, mostly in the western and southern areas of the Adirondacks.
