What's Next for the Adirondac?

Back in the Water by 2026

According to the post, the goal is to have the vessel back on Lake George in 2026 with two decks, followed by the full three-deck Adirondac returning in 2027.

The announcement sparked an outpouring of support from fans across the region, with comments calling the news “fantastic,” “wonderful,” and “long overdue.” Many praised the dedication and enthusiasm behind the rebuild, noting that this kind of commitment feels uniquely Lake George.

Momentum Building for Charred Ship

This update builds on momentum from last week’s announcement of “Frostbite on Land,” a New Year’s Day dockside celebration created to keep the beloved Frostbite tradition alive while the Adirondac rebuilds.

That event, which features live music, food, drinks, fireworks, and a non-attendance ticket option, was designed not just to celebrate the new year but to support the ship’s journey forward.

Together, the fundraiser and the rebuild timeline send a clear message: The Adirondac isn’t gone, it’s coming back, and Lake George will be ready when she does.
