Things I’ve Learned During Coronavirus Outbreak (Audio)
I feel like I've learned a lot over the course of the past 5 to 6 days. Some of things have been very useful, and some will just make me sound ridiculous, but I'm OK with that. I've learn to better appreciate the men and women who show up to hospitals despite fears of their own, to make sure we get better. I've also learned that toilet paper is far more valuable during a crisis than ever imaginable. I've also learned that despite the efforts of what really smart and informed people say about social distancing, many people just don't listen and carry-on like the coronavirus is some sort of hoax. I've learned that there are a lot of really great local leaders who have offered to help out families with whatever they need during these difficult times offering food, resources, and comfort. And they did it quietly, without having to humble-brag on social media.
I've also learned a few innocuous things as well. Like how to spell 'canceled' which I always thought was two l's, not one. Here are a few of other things I learned in the past week ago that border on the simple, to the silly, to the sublime.
