My mom celebrated a milestone birthday this month. She turned 75 and wanted to highlight everyone celebrating a birthday in May. She decided to do another paint and sip episode (without the paint) of a drink for those celebrating May birthdays.

It's our very own Bethany's birthday today, and that quickly became the subject of this week's Write A Song Wednesday.

Here is Today's Daily Dilemma: We just had a birthday party for someone in our family. Many came - and there were plenty of gifts. You know what happens- they leave them on the table with cards. Some cards are attached, some are just in the general vicinity...

Have you ever had a surprise party sprung on you?  Have you ever been SO shocked that you turned literally grey (greyer than my hair?) This happened this weekend as my wonderful wife and amazing friends pulled the ultimate surprise on me.

I just had to do this.  It's rare when you get "bombarded" on Facebook.  In fact I can't say I've ever had this happen before.  I'm trying to write back to you all, but in case I missed a few-

Wow, here was another dilemma that I didn't know was so important to the people it applies to. I guess I understand how one could feel overlooked a bit if they share their birthday with Jesus. I just don't understand the difference between one gift worth say, $100 or two gifts worth $50 each.

I'm not sure how accurate this is.  There are studies for EVERYTHING these days.  But if you believe in science and  statistics, with a little touch of astrology thrown in for good measure, it might come in handy if you are looking for work...

It amazes me every time.  The loyalty displayed by WGNA listeners.  Even for a stupid thing like a birthday! Heck-everybody has one.  What's the big deal, right? But I got an incredible present over the weekend-well wishes from fabulous Facebookers, and I just felt like I had to do something!

This is a day that always puts me into a little bit of a funk.  So I thought I would use this blog to just quickly pay tribute to Dad, if you don't mind.  (I'll make it short-don't worry!)
