Make a Car Payment or Eat a Burger?

The restaurant is calling it New York State’s most expensive burger.

Naturally, locals immediately started roasting it, and the social media comments are the chef's kiss.

  • “For $325, that burger better place a bet for me at the track.”
  • “At that price, the cow should personally thank me.”
  • “At Ted’s Fish Fry they put fish on a hot dog bun. At Siro’s they put your mortgage payment on a brioche bun.”

What Comes on "The Golden Boy"?

Called “The Golden Boy,” the burger features a 16-ounce A5 wagyu patty on a gold-wrapped milk bread bun with foie gras, king crab mornay, truffle bacon jam, and caviar tater tots.

To be fair, Siro’s has never exactly been subtle, and almost everything in the Spa City comes with an exaggerated price.  The legendary Saratoga seasonal hotspot dates back nearly 90 years and has long attracted celebrities, racing elites, and wealthy summer visitors.

The restaurant famously describes itself as “where Goodfellas meets Gone With the Wind.” Honestly, that sounds exactly like the kind of place that would sell a $325 burger.
