Now Hiring For The Holidays

There are less than one hundred days until Christmas and one major company is looking to fill a ton of seasonal positions now. The holidays are fast approaching and if you want to make some extra cash, the United Postal Service (UPS) is hiring. They are looking to fill about one hundred thousand temporary jobs for the holiday season. Interested workers would begin in November.

According to UPS, they have added ninety five thousand jobs this season because of demand. If you are hired, the peak holiday season starts Black Friday and goes through the middle of January because of returns.

Peak season begins on Black Friday, the day after the Thanksgiving holiday in November, and runs through early January when there is a large wave of returns. Plus with more people using the internet to order and ship packages through the holiday season, UPS has to hire enough temporary workers to keep up with demand.
