Man From Altamont Arrested For DWI And Drug Charges

According to The Albany County Sheriff’s Department is, a 21 year old man from Altamont was arrested on charges of DWI and drug possession.

Alexander Knapp was arraigned in the Town Of Guilderland and sent to The Albany County Correctional Facility. In a story that I saw on CBS 6 Albany, Knapp was allegedly found to have hydrocodone tablets, several grams of cocaine, and marijuana in his possession.

His charges include several vehicle and driving violations including driving while intoxicated, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. His bail was set at $1000.
