Save the Date: Christmas at the Malta Drive-In!

If there’s one thing we love here in the Capital Region, it’s a good old-fashioned drive-in movie night, and now you can enjoy it with a bit of holiday magic.

Full disclosure: When we were young, my parents would try to hide my sister and me under a blanket so they wouldn't have to pay full price when they took us to a drive-in theatre.  For the love of Xmas, please don't do that.

Get ready for Christmas at the Malta Drive-In, happening Saturday, November 1st.

It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season early — with Christmas music, sleigh bells, and plenty of hot chocolate under the stars.

This festive night combines two of our favorite things: drive-ins and Christmas.

Here’s What's Playing

  • Screen #1 will be showing The Polar Express and Elf.
  • Screen #2 will be showing How the Grinch Stole Christmas and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

And yes, according to the Malta Drive-In, Jolly Old Saint Nick will be there in person! Every paid child admission includes a Golden Ticket, good for one hot chocolate and a bell from Santa’s sleigh, while supplies last.

So grab your blankets, pile into the car, and make it a cozy holiday night to remember. Pajamas are absolutely welcome!

Christmas at the Malta Drive-In comes a little early this year, Saturday, November 1st. Let’s make spirits bright, Capital Region!
