Lou’s List Of Annoyances About Christmas

I really like and enjoy Christmas. It was always more fun when I was a kid, and when my kids were still young.

I like the excitement of opening the presents on Christmas morning, and for the kids, seeing their reactions, especially when they got what they really wanted.

It’s a hustle and bustle time with everyone trying to hurry and get everything done for the big day. I'm not trying to be a kill joy, but there are a few things that I don’t like about Christmas.

5) Christmas Music Before Thanksgiving

I don't want to hear this stuff until after Thanksgiving. I actually had a friend who would break out their Christmas cds in September. I always recommended professional help.

4) More Crowds Than Normal At The Stores

I know and understand why, but I just don't like when it's so crowded that you you feel like you're in an obstacle course going through the isles. Online shopping, here I come.

3) Christmas Card Residue

I enjoy getting Christmas cards, but when the holiday's over, what do I do with the cards? I could save them, but if I did that every year, I could probably fill an entire room with them, but I feel guilty if I throw them away.

2) Inflatable Decorations

I love Christmas decorations. Just not those inflatable things. They take up a ton of room, and when they're not inflated, it looks like someone forgot to clean up their yard. I know there are people that love them. I'd rather see a nice Christmas light set up.

1) Wrapping Presents

This is the one thing I really hate to do probably because I suck at it. My family knows which gifts that I wrapped because I usually overuse the tape, after all, I don't want those presents to accidentally open up because of my poor wrapping job.

I don't want anyone to think that I'm a Scrooge, but these are just a few things that I find annoying at Christmas. I'm sure you have a few dislikes that you can share with us.
