I know that it's not even Halloween yet but this story is fascinating to me. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have decided to change how they do Christmas and it's started some discussion.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have two kids, 3-year-old Wyatt and 1-year-old Dmitri, and they're working hard to not "raise a**holes," according to Buzzfeed. This year the couple has picked up a new Christmas tradition.

They decided this year that they won't be giving presents to their children for Christmas. They feel like there's no reason to give presents to children under one. Even now that Wyatt is three, they feel like she'll get used to getting a bunch of presents instead of appreciating them. Kunis told her parents, "if you have to give her something, pick one gift. Otherwise, we'd like to take a charitable donation, to the Children's Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want."

Granted, I'm not a parent and I'm not going to pretend to be but this idea doesn't seem so bad. Kids do get used to just getting a bunch of gifts, looking for the next one instead of appreciating what they just opened. We long for the days of the true meaning of Christmas and maybe they have the answer.
