It seems that the Grinch has made a stop at the train station and may not take any toys this Christmas to distribute them to kids in need. The announcement was made that they may no longer help. There may no longer be toys delivered by train for less fortunate kids in the Capital Region this Christmas. According to News Channel 13, the Toys for Tots train may not be carrying toys this year. Amtrak informed the Marines, that run the Toys for Tots program, that it wouldn't fit their business model this holiday season.

The Marines depend on Amtrak to deliver, not only thousands of toys to those in need, but also gloves, hats and coats. If Amtrak does make the final decision not to deliver the Christmas donations, the Marines say it would be catastrophic. There are over forty thousand children and their families who rely on the donations.
