Disabled Vet Proposes In Front of President Bush 41 and 43 [Video]

This is very cool-an extremely touching video. A disabled veteran proposes to his girlfriend in Kennebunkport,Maine in front of some very famous people.
OK guys – where did you propose to your wife? Was it in a very memorable spot? I don't think any of us could beat this guy – he deserves all the  attention he can get.

His name is Tyler Jeffries, and he is a disabled veteran back from the war in Afghanistan.  He has two prosthetic legs and has to be helped to get on his knees to  do the proposing, but that didn't stop him.   He was visiting Kennebunkport and the Bush family home because they had a special event to honor warriors wounded in battle.

Of course this was a great "social media moment", and  it went viral on Twitter.   In case you missed it, here he is proposing to Laura Lilly  with George HW Bush, Barbara Bush, and George and Laura Bush  on hand to watch.

Sure was an unforgettable moment for all involved.   Congratulations to the happy couple,  and we salute your service, Tyler.
