Capital Region Snow Squalls Could Bring Whiteout Conditions This Week
Snow squalls will move through the area during the Tuesday morning commute.

National Weather Serice Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Captial Region of New York, Western Massachusetts, and Southern Vermont through Sunday.
2 clipper systems moving across New York this week will impact the area over the next few days.
Tonight and Tuesday morning the National Weather Service says snow showers and snow squalls, along with gusty winds, will move through the region.
Snow squalls could bring brief whiteout conditions between 4 and 7 am in areas north and west of Albany and between 7 and 9 am around the Capital Region.
NWS says a second clipper system will move in on Tuesday and Wednesday. Snowfall will be modest, but snow squalls can once again be a factor on Wednesday afternoon.
The weather outlook stays in place through the week with more potential snowfall Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday into Saturday.
Could This Be A Last Gasp Of Winter?
With Ground Hog Day approaching Sunday, we are nearing the halfway point of winter and spring is looming. Some forecasters are saying a mild spring could be coming our way, bringing some relief after what has been a cold, but not a very snowy winter for the Capital Region.
