We have reached the end of another week, so it's time to relive another great country song from the past with this weeks edition of Flashback Friday. This week we go back to 1993 for Blackhawk's very first single "Goodbye Says It All".

The song, released in October of 1993, reached only #11 in early 1994 on the Billboard charts but it's the song that most remember the band for. They would follow this up with the #2 hit "Every Once In A While"

The Band was comprised of Henry Paul, Dave Robbins and Van Stephenson. Paul came from the Southern Rock band The Outlaws, while Robbins and Stephenson were known mainly as  songwriters who wrote a number of hits for Restless Heart. The band is still touring and making music these days unfortunately without Stephenson who passed away in 2001 after a battle with skin cancer. It was Stephenson's wish for the band to press on and keep creating music. The band also created a Cancer Research Fund in his name.

Be sure to check back again next friday as we check out another great country memory.
