Only in Upstate NY! Sasquatch Festival Returns to Whitehall
The 10th Annual Bigfoot Event Happening This Month
If Bigfoot is hiding somewhere in Upstate New York, he might want to avoid Whitehall on September 26th. An awful lot of people will be trying to get his attention.
The 10th Annual Sasquatch Festival returns to Skenesborough Park in Whitehall on Saturday, September 26th, from 10 AM to 6 PM, celebrating the legendary creature that has been associated with this part of Washington County for decades.

And honestly, even if you think Bigfoot is about as real as the Bills' chance at winning the Super Bowl, it's a people-watchers dream.

What to Expect if You Head to Whitehall
The free, family- and pet-friendly festival will feature Bigfoot researchers, Sasquatch merchandise, live music, more than 15 food trucks, and over 150 vendors.
But serious Squatch fans will likely be most interested in the speaker lineup.
According to the organizers, presentations throughout the day will cover everything from “The Science of Sasquatch” and “Adirondack Bigfoot” to New England sightings and the famous Abair Road incident. There’s even an afternoon panel discussion for anyone looking to go deeper down the Bigfoot rabbit hole.

The Crown Jewel of the Event is the Squatch Calling Contest
At 5 PM, it's the Whitehall Sasquatch Calling Contest. People gather in a park in Upstate New York and unleash their finest Bigfoot calls into the wilderness. I've seen videos of this contest before, and trust me, it's everything you'd expect!
Of course, Whitehall's connection to Bigfoot isn't something invented just for the festival. The community has embraced reported Sasquatch sightings in the area dating back decades, making Whitehall one of Upstate New York's most famous Bigfoot destinations.
