Albany’s Legendary Little Anthony’s Making Big Decision-No Meat

An Albany pizzeria that has been around since 1982 has decided to no longer have meat under their roof or on their pizzas and food. Little Anthony's has made a big decision to service the majority of its clientele comprised of vegetarians and vegans.

Little Anthony's has been a staple on Central Ave in Albany for thirty-nine years has decided to become a meat-free restaurant according to the Times Union. They will always be known as Little Anthony's but have adopted the nickname of LA's Pizzeria and Vegan Bakery. The decision was made by third-generation owner Patrick Batuello and his partner Nicole Arciello.  Patrick has been vegan for twenty years. Nicole hopes that the restaurant is referred to as LA's Veg. They also want to include more items from Arciello's Imagine Desserts Vegan Bakery. This business also operates out of their kitchen.

Get ready to order round and Sicilian pizzas with a ton of vegetable options for toppings and vegan meat substitutes. The restaurant also has calzones, pasta dishes, appetizers, subs, salads, and catering platters.

I hope this business continues to thrive. It seems like they know their customers and this was a niche that they wanted to fill. After all, I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I rarely get meat on my pizza anyway. I would love to try their pizza regardless if they sell meat dishes or toppings.

LA's Pizzeria and Vegan Bakery is open on Tuesdays from 10 am until 8 pm, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 am until 9 pm, 11 am until 8 pm on Sunday and they are closed on Mondays.
