Have you guys seen the low-riding, fast-moving, mystery vehicle that has been making its way around the Capital Region on major roads recently? The few clips of videos and pictures I've seen have left me wondering what the heck this thing is, and apparently, I'm not alone.  And for those of you who believe in alien lifeforms, WE may not be alone!

Okay, it's probably not an alien, but it is odd, and it is a bit strange to see, and it definitely doesn't appear safe when it's traveling next to or near you moving at relatively high speeds.

Here's what I'm talking about, our friends over Two Buttons Deep posted it over the weekend.

I told a few of my colleagues that I saw this thing - not in person - but on various socials and one of my colleagues named Steve King quickly explained that what we're seeing is called a recumbent bike.  A recumbent bicycle is a bicycle that places the rider in a laid-back reclining position, and in some instances like the one seen traveling throughout the Capital Region, it can be covered.

Here's a close-up view of the alien car. I don't know who or what is inside this thing, but someone has to be pedaling, right?

Doesn't it seem unsafe to you?  What's with the white sign flapping around on the top of it?  Would a human ever take this out on actual roads?  I say no way.  It must be aliens.
