A Wynanstkill man is accused of a wild, violent rampage on a flight recently in which the enraged passenger is alleged to have fought with flight attendants and law enforcement during a thwarted attempt to storm the cockpit mid-flight.

According to the New York Post, the incident occurred last Thursday January 9th on United Express that was traveling from Washington to Newark.  As the plane was landing towards its destination, the horrifying ordeal went down.

The report states that witnesses claim that Matthew Dingley of Wynanstkill, violently stormed the cockpit as the plane was landing and started to aggressively bang on the door.

A female flight attendant, according to the source, tried to stop Dingley who then proceeded to attack her.  The crazed commuter was then allegedly confronted by another passenger on the plane who had some experience in law enforcement.

While Port Authority Police apprehended the 28-year-old Capital Region native, it's reported that Dingley fought with several officers. The flight attendant and the 6 officers injured in the incident were taken to the hospital for injuries but are expected to make a full recovery.

Dingley has a slew of charges against him.
