Update on Body Found in Corinth

The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman whose body was discovered inside a Corinth home earlier this week.

According to investigators, deputies responding to a residence on Walnut Street on June 1st  found the body of 52-year-old Jennifer Randall of Corinth. Authorities announced Thursday that Randall has been positively identified as the victim in the case.

A Corinth man, Roy Cheyenne, was arrested in connection with the incident shortly after the discovery.

The Body Was Left For Some Time

Investigators allege that Cheyenne concealed Randall's body beneath multiple blankets in a bedroom of an apartment where he had previously resided. Detectives believe the body had been inside the residence for a considerable amount of time before it was discovered.

At this time, officials say Randall's cause of death has not yet been determined.

Cheyenne has been charged with concealment of a human corpse, a Class E felony. He was arraigned and remains held at the Saratoga County Jail pending further court proceedings.

Investigation Remains Active

The Sheriff's Office says the investigation remains active, and additional information could be released as detectives continue their work.
