World Famous Weiner Rolls into Lake George
The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is rolling into Lake George this weekend, bringing a little extra flavor to the annual Winter Carnival.
Driven by Oscar Mayer “Hotdoggers” Jack and Cheese, the famous glizzy will be parked along Canada Street on Saturday and Sunday as part of the 64th Annual Lake George Winter Carnival.

Wanna Sit "Shotbun?"
Visitors will have the chance to get an up-close look at the legendary Wienermobile, take photos, and even sit in the front seat, which is better known as the coveted “shotbun” position.
Of course, no visit would be complete without one of the beloved Wiener Whistles, which the Hotdoggers hand out to guests as a souvenir.
The Wienermobile will be open for tours on Saturday from noon to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., giving visitors plenty of time to stop by while enjoying the festivities happening around Lake George Village.
The Winter Carnival itself has been bringing crowds to Lake George every weekend from February 6 through March 8, featuring family-friendly events, winter activities, food vendors, and plenty of reasons to bundle up and spend the day by the lake.
The Million-Dollar Question
As you might imagine, the Wienermobile announcement sparked plenty of laughs online. One commenter couldn’t resist asking the obvious question about the giant hot dog on wheels: “Is it smaller in the cold?”
Good question… but considering this thing is 27 feet long, it probably holds up just fine even in a Lake George winter.
