My husband and I have been married for 9 years and lately he's been obsessing over finding out about his families lineage using those DNA/Ancestry kits.  I'm not sure what he's looking to find, but it's been the only thing he's talking about. He's hosting all these family Zoom calls to discuss their lineage and he's really into it. The problem is, he's spending hundreds of dollars a month to have these things researched and quite frankly, we can't afford it.

Please help...my husband's seemingly pointless new hobby is breaking the bank. What does LC think about this?

This turned out to be an awesome topic for us once the Love Cowboy segment wrapped up.  Listeners learned some life-changing things about their family while using these DNA kits, but are they worth the money?
