Upstate NY ‘The Voice’ Contestant Will Signal Local Fans Live Tonight!
Watch 'The Voice' on News Channel 13 (NBC) tonight at 8 pm. There is rooting interest in a country artist on Team Reba that has made it to the Knockout Rounds. Not only will he be performing to stay on the show, but he will also be giving a signal to all of his Upstate New York fans.
What Are Tae Lewis' Ties To The Capital Region?
Back in 2018, Tae Lewis lived in Clifton Park and was in a band for the Redemption Church in Schenectady. He played country music gigs in local bars: Nashville of Saratoga, Gaffney's, Frog Alley, and Cafe Lena. He also played at the Great Schaghticoke Fair.
Tae Lewis made it past the Blind Auditions and he had a stellar duet performance with L. Rodgers. They sang Carly Pearce and Chris Stapleton's "We Don't Fight Anymore". Reba chose Tae Lewis as the winner.
This brings us to tonight's (Monday, April 8th) Knockout Rounds. Tae Lewis will be performing live after being mentored by Keith Urban.
Tae spoke to us (Brian & Chrissy on 107.7 WGNA in Albany, NY) about how he is doing on the show and what a big night it is going to be. We then asked him for a special favor during his performance. Take a listen to what Tae Lewis promised he would do on the show live tonight.
We will all be watching and rooting on our Capital Region contestant, Tae Lewis tonight on "The Voice".
