**UPDATE**

Schenectady Police have arrested and charged 39 year old Victor Mattson of Schenectady in a string of robberies. He has been charged with armed robbery, one count of first-degree robbery with display of a firearm, a felony, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, related to one of the robberies. He will most likely be charged in all four of the holdups.

Mattson was arrested yesterday afternoon.

Can you help Schenectady Police identify this man who they believe is responsible for four separate robberies in Schenectady? If you can, there may be a reward in it for you.

The first robbery took place on Saturday on Broadway at around 2pm where the man showed a gun and demanded money. Then just before 7:30pm, the same man robbed the Rite Aid on Van Vranken Ave. Rite Aid's surveillance camera captured the image and are asking for the public's help.

Police believe the man then robbed the Family Dollar on State Street just before 10am on Sunday and then hit the CVS on State Street near Niskayuna on Monday.

He is described as a thin white male about 6 feet tall. The Rite Aid is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to arrest and prosecution.  If you have any information call the police at 518-382-5245.

There is someone out there that knows this man. How could anyone think they can get away with these robberies especially with the technology we have? Plus I feel for the cashiers and what they had to go through. Let's find this guy and bring him to justice.
