There are more jobs and more dollars coming to Montgomery County. There is a company that is looking to add another distribution center to the one they already have in the area.
According to a recall being issued by US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Dollar General, there are 155,000 foldable lounge chairs are at risk of amputation, laceration, or pinching if your fingers get caught in the metal foldable joints.
In these uncertain times, know that there are stores that are hiring. Dollar General is looking to fill thousands of positions across the country. There are nearly two dozen stores here in the Capital Region.

Schenectady Police have arrested and charged 39 year old Victor Mattson of Schenectady in a string of robberies. He has been charged with armed robbery, one count of first-degree robbery with display of a firearm, a felony, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, related to one of the robberies. He will most likely be charged in all four of the holdups.

Yesterday, Dollar General announced plans to build a distribution center in Amsterdam in Montgomery County. It'll be the company's 16th.
The project is expected to create 430 new jobs when it's finished and up to 200 additional, temporary construction jobs needed to build the project
