The winter is depressing, lets be serious about that. For months and months and months, it's just cold and gloomy and blah. I need sunshine to smile and feel good. Anyone does, really. So, I'm so very glad that it's been better and better as the days go on. There are plenty of things to look forward to but my favorite of all is softball season.

Spring has sprung and back road driving time is officially here. What are some of your favorite roads to cruise on? Here are some of mine.

Don't get me wrong, I am so happy that spring is finally here. However, when you think spring in March, it isn't all that pretty.

I am no meteorologist but if you were to ask Steve Caporizzo he would tell you I am pretty well versed in the ways of the weather for a layman, and if you asked my wife she'd tell you I am a bit "weather obsessed." This is it, this is everything for a whole lot of people in the Capital Region, Jumpin' Jack's in Scotia opens today. The best part is it is supposed to be a beautiful warm spring day. I have to think if I wasn't working on the air this morning I would be getting in the car right now and getting into a line that is already forming for the open at 11:00 am.

It's that time of the year where all the local Drive-Ins are back in business!

Sitting out on the patio enjoying some good food, good company and warm weather is one of my favorite things.

There is so much to do and so much fun to be had as soon as that warm weather kicks into full gear here in the Capital Region.

Bring on the spring!  That's what I say.  I'm sure you won't disagree after this past winter. That sentiment became the incentive for this little project.

This is going to be a labor of love.  All I need are 2 more schools to make this songwriting dream a reality
