Think Spring! Warm Weather Fun We Can’t Wait For

There is so much to do and so much fun to be had as soon as that warm weather kicks into full gear here in the Capital Region.

I wanted to see what you were most excited for, so I polled my Facebook page to get it straight from your mouth! I'll admit, I've lived in the Capital Region for almost my entire life and based on your comments, I need to start exploring the area more than I have and start really living!

A lot of outdoor activities were what I expected and that's definitely what I got. Making the list:

• Camping
• Hiking
• Swimming
• Walking/Running
• Kayaking
• Bon fires
• Water Tubing
• Local Beaches
• Outdoor Craft Fairs
• Flea Markets

I did ask if people had some favorite places to experience these activities and the list came pouring in: Durant Lake, Lewey Lake, Lincoln Pond, Lake Luzerne, Wakonda in Pottersville, Battenkill, Pine Bush trails, Lishakill Trails were notable mentions.

I know I'm excited for all of that and then some! This will be my first time experiencing Countryfest and I can't wait for the SPAC season to kick in, too!
