It was a labor of love but after twenty years of being closed and two years of intense renovations, a legendary restaurant in downtown Greenwich is open. Wallie's has gone through a transformation while keeping its historical roots and foundation, literally.

In 2018 a fire destroyed one of my favorite places on Saratoga Lake called Lake Local. Now under new ownership and a total transformation, a new restaurant and bar is opening. I am anxious to see the beautiful new establishment and we don't have to wait much longer.

As some construction and renovations were being done to the oldest building in the Ballston Spa School District, a small box was found with some things that were placed there in 1899.
