Legendary Saratoga Lake Restaurant To Undergo Complete Overhaul

One of my favorite restaurants near Saratoga Lake is eventually closing to go through much needed renovations. Find out how long can you enjoy this iconic restaurant before they close to overhaul it and what to expect when it reopens after the renovation. As a kid, we would go to Panza's restaurant near Saratoga Lake often. They knew us by name and my dad even had his wedding reception there. It has been a huge part of my life both as a child and an adult. When I first heard that Panza's would be closing I was upset, but then I realized these renovations are desperately needed and there would be not only a new restaurant, but a venue and a catering company.

According to the Daily Gazette, Panza's hasn't been renovated since the 1980s and the owner says that it is long overdue. Panza's wants to expand the building, update it and open up the space. They are hoping to get approval for a second floor that has beautiful views of Saratoga Lake while adding a boutique hotel. They hope to stay open through the New Year and then begin the overhaul. There still needs to be approval from the city planning department.
